It is provided a novel heterocyclic compound represented by Formula 1: (see formula 1) containing a beta-amino group, a method for preparing the same, and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same heterocyclic compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The heterocyclic compound exhibits excellent DPP-IV inhibitory activity and bioavailability and therefore can be useful for the prophylaxis or treatment of DPP-IV-related diseases such as diabetes or obesity.
