<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life end mill formed of cemented carbide capable of executing composite working by one end mill at high speed even in the case of the composite working including vertical feeding work required for working a difficult-to-machine material such as stainless steel, horizontal feeding work, and tilt cutting, suppressing especially chatter vibration, and preventing abnormal abrasion or blade chipping caused by chip clogging. <P>SOLUTION: The end mill formed of the cemented carbide includes a plurality of bottom blades and outer peripheral blades, and a gash including a plurality of gash surfaces. The outer peripheral blades are arranged at unequal divided angles. The plurality of gash surfaces includes a first gash surface which is the rake surface of the bottom blade, a second gash surface disposed at the rotational center side of the tool shaft of the end mill, and a third gash surface disposed at the outer peripheral side of the end mill. The clearance face of the plurality of outer peripheral blades comprises a first clearance face where a first clearance angle exceeds 3° and lower than 5° and a second clearance face having a second clearance angle larger than the first clearance angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
