<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert excellent in positioning accuracy and having sufficient rigidity. <P>SOLUTION: The insert 1 formed into a bar-like shape includes: a shank 3; a cutting blade 2 formed, at least, in the tip A of the shank 3; and a step 9 which is formed in the shank 3 on a rear end B side opposite to the tip A, where the cutting blade 2 is formed so as to be bent to the rear end B side and which includes a straight part with a view from a cross section. The cutting tool T is formed by inserting the insert 1 into an insertion hole 11 formed in the distal end of a holder 10 from the rear end B side of the insert 1, and fixing the insert 1 in the state where an angular part of the step 9 is made to abut, in linear contact, on a positioning member 12 provided in the holder 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
