THIRD RAIL CONNECTING TOOL FOR LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT

PURPOSE: A connecting device for a third rail of a light weight train is provided to improve the workability by connecting rails accurately with checking a height and a length of a connection part of the rails using a pair of turnbuckles. CONSTITUTION: A connecting device for a third rail of a light weight train comprises a front clamping block(2), a rear clamping block(9), and a pair of turn buckles for controlling tensions. The front clamping block is divided into a upper member(3) and a lower member(6). The upper member comprises a bolt insertion hole(3a), rail insertion grooves (3b), and a turnbuckle hanger. The lower member comprises the rail line insertion grooves(6b) on a center of an upper side. The rear clamping block is divided into the upper member(10) and the lower member(13). The upper member of the rear clamping block comprises the bolt insertion hole(10a), the rail insertion grooves(10b), and the turnbuckle hanger. The lower member of the rear clamping block comprises the bolt insertion hole(13a) on both sides of the upper side and the rail insertion grooves(13b) on the center of the upper side. A pair of the turn buckles for controlling the tensions is connected between each turnbuckle hanger of the rear clamping block and the front clamping block.
