PURPOSE: A polyester resin composition is provided to obtain a coating composition suitable for the coating of golf balls due to excellent yellowing resistance, impact resistance, and scratch resistance. CONSTITUTION: A polyester resin composition is prepared by reacting polyhydric alcohol with acids including C9 aliphatic monocarboxylic acids. In the polyester resin composition, a hydroxyl value is 130~170 mgKOH/g, an acid value is 15~18 mgKOH/g, and average molecular weight is 15,000~25,000. The polyhydric alcohol includes 20~40 weight% of 4-functional group polyhydric alcohols, 60~70 weight% of 3-functional group polyhydric alcohols, and 10~20 weight% of 2-functional group polyhydric alcohols based on the total amount of the polyhydric alcohol.
