<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC connection device in which safety is enhanced by preventing generation of electric arc when a plug using a DC current is inserted into an outlet or pulled therefrom. <P>SOLUTION: The outlet 3 comprises a relay 45, i.e. a cable way opening/closing part for opening/closing a feed line, and a connection confirmation part 31 which confirms connection with a plug 2. The relay 45 opens/closes the feed line based on the connection state of the plug 2 and the outlet 3 detected by the connection confirmation part 31. With such an arrangement, the feed line is turned off when the connection confirmation part 31 confirms non-connection state of the plug 2 and the outlet 3. When the plug 2 is inserted into the outlet 3 or pulled therefrom, generation of electric arc is prevented and safety is enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
