<p>PURPOSE:To extract a clock continuously from an input signal digitally by outputting a synchronizing trigger with priority over the self-running trigger under the control by a trigger selection control circuit so as to eliminate the need for a basic clock. CONSTITUTION:A phase synchronizing trigger as a clock component extracted from an input signal IN is applied to an oscillation circuit as a one-shot multivibrator circuit 14 over the self-running trigger generated from the output of the oscillation circuit. That is, the self-running oscillation is applied by feeding back the output of the oscillation circuit to the input and even when the frequency of the oscillated output is coincident with that of the extracted clock CLK, the phase is synchronized with the clock to be extracted in general. Thus, when the clock component is extracted from the input signal, it is given to the oscillation circuit with priority over the feedback signal. Thus, the oscillated output is phase-synchronized to the extracted clock CLK.</p> |
