<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive device in which deformation and breakage of components are prevented when a lens (a lens assembly) is attached to a lens holder. <P>SOLUTION: An autofocus actuator 1 includes a holder 10 for holding a lens assembly 100, a stopper 70 integrally fixed to the holder 10, a drive mechanism for moving the holder 10 in a direction of an optical axis of a lens, and a fixed body comprising a cover 80 and a base 85 and holding the holder 10 through a spring member. In an outer edge of the stopper 70 integrally fixed to the holder 10, three substantially triangular recessed portions 72 are formed. In an inner edge of an opening 80a of the cover 80, three substantially triangular projecting portions 201 are formed.
