<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a 3D image that gives discomfort to a viewer may be caused when a pan, a tilt or large blurring occurs during photographing in an imaging apparatus which can photograph the 3D image. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 100 includes; a motion detecting portion 210 detecting a motion of the imaging apparatus 100; and a video data output portion 209 switching/outputting 2D video data and 3D video data, which are obtained by imaging a subject image, in accordance with the detected motion of the imaging apparatus 100. The appropriate video can be supplied by switching and outputting the 2D video data and the 3D video data in accordance with the motion of the imaging apparatus 100.
