PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the efficiency of the solar cell by reducing a light absorption rate of a transparent conductive layer. CONSTITUTION: A first semiconductor layer(130) is formed on a first surface of a light absorbing layer(100). A second semiconductor layer(140) is formed on a second surface of the light absorbing layer. A first transparent conductive layer(150) with one X-ray diffraction peak is formed on the first semiconductor layer. A second transparent conductive layer(160) with one X-ray diffraction peak is formed on the second semiconductor layer. A first electrode(170) is formed on the first transparent conductive layer. A second electrode(180) is formed on the second transparent conductive layer.
