In the present invention, a method for producing a vulcanized rubber composition that contains S-(3-aminopropyl)thiosulfuric acid, a rubber component, a filler, a sulfur component and a vulcanization accelerator, is characterized by including the following steps (A) to (C). (A): A step of kneading the S-(3-aminopropyl)thiosulfuric acid, which has a median diameter (50%D) of 10 µm to 100 µm, the rubber component and the filler. (B): A step of kneading the mixture obtained in step (A) with the sulfur component and the vulcanization accelerator. (C): A step of heat treating the mixture obtained in step (B).
