PURPOSE: An XML based browsing method for an SIP based data service is provided to increase the browsing speed of a screen by shortening the length of total payload. CONSTITUTION: A data service request message is transmitted to a server(S309). The data service request message includes an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) header including an XML(eXtensible Markup Language) message and a service request body. A data service response message including a service response body is received from the server. The XML element is browsed on a screen.
