PURPOSE: A nitrogen-added high manganese steel sheet having high strength and high ductility and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to ensure high strength and high ductility with reduced manganese content. CONSTITUTION: A nitrogen-added high manganese steel sheet having high strength and high ductility comprises carbon 0.5~1.0 weight%, manganese 10~20 weight%, chrome 4.0 weight% or less, nitrogen 0.02~0.3 weight%, silicon less than 4 weight%, aluminum less than 3 weight%, niobium less than 0.30 weight%, titanium less than 0.30 weight%, vanadium less than 0.30 weight%, and iron and inevitable impurities of the rest amount.
