The feeder has a mail piece-receiving deck, a longitudinal referencing wall, and a row of drive rollers comprising two drive rollers traversing the deck, where one of the drive rollers is formed by a cylindrical wheel (22) mounted on wheel rim (24). A drive mechanism controls the row of drive rollers. The rollers are inclined at an angle relative to perpendicular to a longitudinal referencing wall. The row of drive rollers has a driving unit for driving one of the drive rollers in rotation with a predetermined delay relative to another drive roller that is close to the wall. |
