PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire is provided to improve the heatproof effect of a sidewall by installing heatproof projections projected from the surface of a sidewall. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire includes a heatproof projection(110) installed to a sidewall of a pneumatic tire and provided with a concave vortex groove(124), and surrounded by a pair of vertical portions(112,114) and horizontal portions(116,118), wherein the vortex groove is inclined in the radial direction to disturb the flow of air, and streamline grooves(120,122) are formed between one side of the horizontal portions and the vertical portions.
