摘要 Novelty: electrically-operated multi-pole slow-rotation motor for the auxiliary movement of bicycles. Constitution & technical features: permanent magnets, a rotor directly adapted to the middle axle of friction, namely to the axle whereto the torque applied by the bicyclist through the pedals is transmitted with no interference of motion transmission elements (such as gears), and a stator fixed on the chassis of the bicycle. The rotor is placed onto the central discs of the middle friction via the screws it bears while, for the assembly of the central discs, the existing holes and nuts can be employed. Advantages: the electric motor executes a range of revs not intensively changed by the speed of the bicycle so that said motor can exhibit optimal efficiency for this range of revs without mechanical losses, since between the rotor and the middle axle of friction are not interposed motion transmission elements.
