The drainage system comprises an upper longitudinal drain trench with a drain pipe filled with a macroporous draining material and arranged outside the drained area perpendicularly to an upland part of the relief for the depth of the seasonal freezing layer and a water impermeable screen arranged in the lowland part of the drainage trench below the seasonal freezing depth.
