To provide a connector capable of assuring contact pressure between a terminal and a flat cable without disposing a metal beam supporting an actuator. In the connector (1) of the present application, a housing (2) has a convexity (27) opposing a terminal (4), and an actuator (3) has a concavity mating with the convexity (27). An axle (363) disposed in the concavity is inserted into a bearing (27a) disposed on the convexity (27). The actuator (3) has a cam (361) fitting between the convexity (27) and the terminal (4), and is disposed so as to be able to turn between a sandwiched position at which a flat cable is sandwiched between the cam (361) and the terminal (4) and a release position at which the sandwiching is released.
