PURPOSE: A portable terminal and control method thereof are provided to display a three dimensional object stack on a touch screen by measuring a difference between a first object and a second object. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(180) displays a touch area for determining a up and a down location of a first and a second object on a predetermined area of a touch screen in case a difference distance between the first and the second object is within an established threshold distance. The control unit provides a different display depth to the first object and the second object according to the up and the down location. The control unit controls the display of a first three dimensional object stack.
