The invention relates to the non-ferrous metallurgy. A method for refining crude lead alloy in which antimony, tin and arsenic excess is removed, includes refining, which is carried out in two stages, at the first stage the melt is bubbled with oxygen with consumption thereof of 0.008-0.010 m/min per ton of alloy to the achievement by alloy of the necessary requirements for antimony content in accordance to the brand of lead antimony containing alloy for the time determined by the formula:t (h) = (1,5 ÷ 2,5) × (Sb-Sb)where Sb- is the initial content of antimony, wt. % in the crude lead alloy, Sb– is the required content of antimony, wt. % in antimony containing lead alloy. At the second stage melt is mixed with blade stirrer at a speed of 60-120 rev/min with carbon containing reducing agent, which is added at the quantity of 0.05- of carbon per tonne of alloy. The technical result is reducing of volume of slagforming in the process of melting lead-antimony alloy, reducing the shortage of metal parts of batteries, which are made from this alloy. |
