The system has a disposal shaft (2) that is fixed to a waste input station, for discharging the waste (4) such as bottle, glass and paper into a well. An identification element is arranged on the disposal shaft, for identifying waste in the well. The identification element is connected with a receiving station (3). The retainers are located on the disposal shaft, for collecting the identified waste. An independent claim is included for method for operating waste disposal system.
