<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the flying of a powder material inside a hopper, and to suppress the scattering of the powder material from an exhaust port with air entrained with the raw material. <P>SOLUTION: A powder material supply device is a device for supplying the powder material to a melting and kneading device and includes: the hopper 1 having a slope for guiding the powder material to be kneaded to a raw material supply port of the melting and kneading device; a shooter 2 for guiding the raw material charged from a raw material feeder to the hopper; and the exhaust port 3 for discharging air, which flows in with the raw material, to the outside of the line.
