<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the facilitation of driving by optimizing the direction of a vehicle body and a horizontal acceleration speed response during rotation. <P>SOLUTION: The steering angle control device for a vehicle includes a rotational steering angle sensor, a wheel speed sensor, a steering angle sensor 5, a target horizontal acceleration calculation unit 15, a target vehicle body horizontal sliding angle calculation unit 16, a rotational steering angle calculation unit 17, a front wheel steering mechanism, and a rear wheel rotational steering mechanism. The target horizontal acceleration calculation unit 15 calculates target horizontal acceleration based on a vehicle speed and a steering angle. The target vehicle body horizontal sliding angle calculation unit 16 calculates a target vehicle body horizontal sliding angle based on the vehicle speed and the steering angle. The rotational steering angle calculation unit 17 calculates a front wheel steering angle command value and a rear wheel steering angle command value to achieve the target horizontal acceleration and the target vehicle body horizontal sliding angle.
