<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the facilitation of driving by optimizing the direction of a vehicle body and a horizontal acceleration speed response during rotation. <P>SOLUTION: The steering angle control device for a vehicle includes a rotational steering angle sensor, a wheel speed sensor, a steering angle sensor 5, a target horizontal acceleration calculation unit 15, a target vehicle body horizontal sliding angle calculation unit 16, a rotational steering angle calculation unit 17, a front wheel steering mechanism, and a rear wheel rotational steering mechanism. The target horizontal acceleration calculation unit 15 calculates target horizontal acceleration based on a vehicle speed and a steering angle. The target vehicle body horizontal sliding angle calculation unit 16 calculates a target vehicle body horizontal sliding angle based on the vehicle speed and the steering angle. The rotational steering angle calculation unit 17 calculates a front wheel steering angle command value and a rear wheel steering angle command value to achieve the target horizontal acceleration and the target vehicle body horizontal sliding angle. The front wheel steering mechanism and the rear wheel rotational steering mechanism independently control real steering angles of left-right front wheels and left-right rear wheels based on steering angle command values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
