Discovery of web services in a local area network

The method involves sending (E6) a request (REQ') containing web server identification data to a set-top box (TD2) and an Internet radio receiver (TD1) and a portable computer (TD4). The request is received (E7) at the set-top-box, and a correspondence between the data and identification data of offered web service is determined (E8). A response to the request is sent (E9) to a tablet computer (TD3), where the response includes a connection address to the service. The response is received (E10) again at a navigation unit of the tablet computer and redirected (E11) to the address in response. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a web service discovering system comprising a terminal (2) a computer program comprising instructions for executing a method of discovering web service (3) a computer readable recording medium for recording a computer program comprising instructions for executing a method to discover web service when program is executed by the computer.
