<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which makes an irradiation range linear by controlling light distribution of diverging light using a light source lens. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device 1 includes the light source lens 4 accommodating inside of the same a light emitting element 3 which irradiates the diverging light as well as a second reflecting mirror 6. The light source lens 4 includes a first central lens part 13 and a first side lens part 14 which is formed on both sides of the same. As for the first central lens part 13, the diverging light passes as it is through a cross-sectional shape when it is cut on a plane containing X-axis, and the cross-sectional shape when it is cut on a plane containing Y-axis shows positive power to refract the diverging light in a direction of YZ plane. The first side lens part 14 has a positive power to refract the diverging light in a direction of YZ plane and XY plane. Transmitted light of the first side lens part 14 is reflected in the direction of the plane of X-axis and the plane containing X-axis by a second reflecting mirror.
