<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cowl louver which suppresses a molding failure such as short shot. <P>SOLUTION: The cowl louver 1 includes a glass-side edge 11 disposed along the lower edge 51 of a windshield 5 and held by the lower edge 51, a panel-side edge 12 disposed closer to a hood panel 8, and a general part 13 formed between the glass-side edge 11 and the panel-side edge 12. The general part 13 has a platelike portion 14 extending in a sheet form between the glass-side edge 11 and the panel-side edge 12, and a ventilating portion 15 having a plurality of small holes. The glass-side edge 11 has a thick-walled portion 17 thicker than the platelike portion 14. A part of the platelike portion 14 that is adjacent to the thick-walled portion 17 is formed as a gradually thinning portion 10 which gradually reduces in its wall thickness from the thick-walled portion 17 toward the platelike portion 14.
