A vehicle (1) includes a plurality of batteries (B1, B2) which can be charged/discharged, a load device, a bus for supplying power to the load device, a plurality of step-up converters (12-1, 12-2) provided correspondingly to the plurality of the batteries (B1, B2), a charging line (PCL) for supplying power received from the outside of the vehicle to a joint between the first battery (B1) and the first step-up converter (12-1), and a controller (30). When external charging is started, the controller (30) controls the first step-up converter (12-1) to perform rectification operation for supplying a current from the charging line to the bus when the voltage of the bus is lower than that of the charging line, and controls the second step-up converter (12-2) to connect the bus and the second battery (B2). |
