<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of reducing the impact of twist trouble easily. <P>SOLUTION: An ALC unit 16 adjusts the signal level of a received signal. A DPLL demodulation unit 20 executes demodulation processing of a signal having an adjusted signal level. The ALC unit 16 executes movement average processing of a received signal in parallel during a plurality of movement average periods different from each other. The ALC unit 16 also compounds a plurality of movement average results.
