A switchgear cubicle has a truck-type circuit breaker 2 and bus-bars 12, 13, 14 secured to a partition 19 by insulators 16, 17, 18 each of which supports an insulating housing part 24 of insulating material. An insulating housing (45) is formed by a housing part 26, of insulating material, which may be plastics reinforced with glass fibre, being clipped over the insulating housing part 24 and being secured in place by two caps 43 which are slidable along the busbars. The housing contains the respective busbar, branch conductor 30 and the plug connection with conductors 34. The housing may be internally provided with a conductive coating, e.g. by metallization, which may be connected to the bus-bars. A voltage transformer 9 is provided on the circuit breaker and a current transformer 40 provided before the cable outlet 41. |
