<p>The invention relates to a modular assembly system for railings and enclosures, which system comprises vertical elements (1a, 1b, 1c) for their vertical arrangement and attached at their ends to at least one longitudinal element (1a, 1b, 1c) for forming railings, gratings, gates and other enclosures in general, the vertical elements (1a, 1b, 1c) being formed by a strong and rigid metal core (11) on which an outer layer (12) of plastic material which coats it is overinjected, said metal core (11) having at its ends fixing means for fixing it to the adjacent longitudinal element (2a, 2b, 2c).
