<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized A/D conversion circuit and solid state imaging device. <P>SOLUTION: First pulse input terminals of a plurality of delay elements of a delay circuit 42 are respectively connected to corresponding one pulse output terminal of the plurality of the delay elements. The plurality of the delay elements delay pulse output signals input into the first pulse input terminals according to analog signal inputs into an analog signal input terminals and output the same from the pulse output terminals, and any one of the plurality of the delay elements receives a pulse signal from the outside. A state change detection circuit 47 sequentially compares the pulse output signals from two continuous delay elements of the plurality of the delay elements and outputs a state change detection signal when the states of two pulse output signals are different from each other. An encode signal latch circuit 48 latches an encode signal having a state according to the delay element which outputs the pulse output signal to the state change detection circuit 47 when the state change detection signal is input. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
