<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to prevent degradation in light use efficiency and to switch between a two-dimensional display and a three-dimensional display without degrading display quality. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic display apparatus includes a light source device for emitting image display light toward a display section 1. The light source device includes: a light guide plate 3 with a first internal reflecting surface 3A and a second internal reflecting surface 3B; a first light source 2 for emitting first illuminating light from the side direction toward the inside of the light guide plate 3; and a second light source 4 for emitting second illumination light toward the second internal reflecting surface 3B. The second internal reflecting surface 3B has a total reflection area 32 and a scattering area 31. A reflecting member (reflecting area 51) for reflecting light passed through the scattering area 31, toward the first internal reflecting surface 3A is provided in a place corresponding to the scattering area 31 between the second internal reflecting surface 3B and the second light source 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
