PURPOSE: Method, assembly and system for mounting a wind turbine blade on a wind turbine hub are provided to decrease the time to operate a crane since all blades can be lift by one operation. CONSTITUTION: An assembly for mounting a wind turbine blade on a wind turbine hub comprises a blade holding unit(3) and an interface(17). The blade holding unit holds two or more blades(20). The interface comprises a lift unit(40) to lift the assembly to a hub(30). The blade holding unit comprises two or more blade holding elements(11). Each of the blade holding element is configured so that the blade can be detachably attached to the blade holding elements.
