PURPOSE: A synchronous motor housing with a horizontally split type structure is provided to easily assemble and disassemble a motor housing by welding two horizontally split type cases of a motor housing with a fastening bolt. CONSTITUTION: The first horizontally split type case(400a) of a half-cylinder shape is combined while surrounding one end of a stator. The second horizontally split type case(400b) of a half-cylinder shape is combined while surrounding the other end of the stator. A fastening bolt(400c) combines the contact sides of the second horizontally split type case and the first horizontally split type case. A first cover plate and a second cover plate are contacted with the first and the second horizontally split type case. The first and the second horizontally split type case are combined with the first cover plate and the second cover plate with a bolt.
