<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scheme that enables a user to easily recognize in which part of the loaded sheets a sample printing is performed. <P>SOLUTION: A printing apparatus includes: a printing device for performing a printing operation for printing an image on the sheet; a sheet delivery device for delivering the sheet with the image printed thereon by the printing operation performed by the printing device to the delivery unit; a sample print control device for performing sample printing by the printing device when receiving a request of sample printing during the printing operation performed by the printing device, and for delivering the page with the printed sample to a delivery destination different from the delivery unit; and a delivery control device for changing the sheet, which is delivered after the sheet delivered to a first delivery place, to a second delivery place different from the first delivery place, when receiving the request of the sample printing during the printing operation for delivering the sheet to the first delivery place of the delivery unit by the delivery device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
