<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting diode which enhances the evenness of luminance and the luminous efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting diode includes a substrate 32, an n type dope layer 34 disposed on the substrate, multiple cathodes 401, 402 disposed between the n type dope layer and the substrate, an active layer 36 disposed on the n type dope layer, a p type dope layer 38 disposed on the active layer, and multiple anodes 421, 422 disposed on the p type dope layer. The cathodes are electrically connected to the n type dope layer, and patterns of the cathodes are separated from each other. The anodes are electrically connected to the p type dope layer, and patterns of the anodes are separated from each other.
