<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component which is easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic component 1 comprises: a housing 20; and an electronic component body 10. The housing 20 has a bottom wall part 21a, a frame part 21b, and a support part 21c1. The frame part 21b is provided around the bottom wall part 21a. The frame part 21b protrudes from the bottom wall part 21a. The support part 21c1 is provided so as to protrude on the bottom wall part 21a. The electronic component body 10 is supported by the support part 21c1. The bottom wall part 21a has at least one corner part 21a1.
