<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst layer-electrolyte membrane stack which is excellent in mechanical strength despite a thin electrolyte membrane, in which adhesion between catalyst layer and electrolyte membrane is improved, and has high proton conductivity under a non-humidified state, and a membrane-electrode junction body and a fuel cell using the stack, and a manufacturing method of the stack. <P>SOLUTION: A catalyst layer-electrolyte membrane stack of the present invention includes an electrolyte membrane 1 and catalyst layers 2a, 2b, the electrolyte membrane 1 includes solid acid and a porous support body 3, the catalyst layers 2a, 2b include a catalyst and are respectively joined to the both surfaces of the electrolyte membrane 1, and the porous support body 3 penetrates the electrolyte membrane 1 and at least a part of one or both of the catalyst layers 2a, 2b. A manufacturing method of the present invention includes a process of forming a catalyst layer including a porous support body at least in a part thereof, a process of forming an electrolyte membrane including the porous support body, and a process of forming another catalyst layer that includes or does not include the porous support body at least in a part thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
