FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: useful model relates to radio engineering industry and can be used in microwave antenna engineering as radar systems and complexes. The two-dimensional electronically controlled beam monopulse phase antenna array has a radiator panel, phase changer units and a waveguide distribution system consisting of row-column dividers, a microwave adder which powers said dividers and facilitates formation of sum-difference beam patterns. Each aperture quadrant of the phased antenna array is split into 4 parts. In every such part, the waveguide distribution system contains one column distributor and n row distributors, and attenuator units between column distributors and phase changer units. The 4 column distributors in each quadrant are powered by a separate adder composed of 3 balance eight-terminal circuits connected such that, when a signal is transmitted from the microwave adder to the inputs of the adders, said signal is distributed between 4 column distributors in all parts in the aperture quadrants. Three outputs-inputs of the adders in each quadrant are provided with switches. ^ EFFECT: more developed, parallel circuit of a beam-forming device and ensuring operation of the antenna both with the whole aperture and in independent mode with separate parts thereof. ^ 1 dwg |
