<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To at least mitigate an unfavorable possibility that a user may keep using an application which is not necessary the best for him/her. <P>SOLUTION: A distribution server presenting recommendable applications to a user includes a reception part for receiving a notification signal including information on an application owned by the user from the user, a storage part for storing application function information which associates the same or similar applications with each other, a selection part for identifying applications having the same or similar function as/to that of the application owned by the user and selecting an application recommendable for the user from the identified applications, and a transmission part for transmitting a recommendation signal indicating the application selected by the selection part to the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
