<p>The purpose of the invention is to identify the velocity of a target object with high precision and little computational power. In a function for an amplitude value V0 vaz expressed by the velocity vp of an SAR platform, a distance R0, a wavelength ? for radio waves, a synthetic aperture time t, and a predicted velocity va' of a target object in the azimuth direction, a step size identification unit (3) inputs the observation conditions for SAR image data, that is, the velocity vp of the SAR platform, a distance R0, a wavelength ? for radio waves, and a synthetic aperture time t, and calculates the amplitude value V0 vaz corresponding to a predicted velocity va'. The step size identification unit (3) identifies, by means of a processing device, the range of predicted velocities va' in the azimuth direction at which the amplitude value V0 vaz is not less than a predetermined value, and treats a width less than or equal to the width of the identified range as a step size ?va1. Then, an identification processing execution unit identifies, by means of a processing device, the velocity of the target object in the azimuth direction, using the step size ?va1.</p> |
