<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyalkylene glycol monomer, in which formation of by-products such as a bifunctional monomer is very slight. <P>SOLUTION: Glycidyl (meth)acrylate and a specific monoalkoxypolyalkylene glycol are brought into an etherification reaction in a feed molar ratio of glycidyl (meth)acrylate/monoalkoxypolyalkylene glycol=0.8/1 to 1.2/1 to produce the objective polyalkylene glycol monomer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
