<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aqueous inkjet ink formable of images on a paper medium without causing deformation of the paper medium, such as curling. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous inkjet ink contains a color material, water in an amount of 50-70 mass% of the total amount, and a water-soluble organic solvent in an amount of 29-49 mass% of the total amount. The water-soluble organic solvent includes a compound represented by general formula (1) which accounts for 10-36 mass% of the total amount of the aqueous inkjet ink. In formula, X<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, X<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and X<SP POS="POST">3</SP>each represents EO<SB POS="POST">n</SB>, and X<SP POS="POST">4</SP>represents an ethyl group or an (EO<SB POS="POST">n</SB>)O group, and EO<SB POS="POST">n</SB>is represented by general formula (2): -(CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>)<SB POS="POST">n</SB>-OH.
