<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high functionality of an imaging element and an imaging device with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging element includes: an imaging area 52 in which a plurality of pixels used for acquiring an image are disposed; a spectral area 54 in which a plurality of pixels used for acquiring a color spectrum are disposed; and a filter that is formed over the pixels in the spectral area 54 and transmits an electromagnetic wave of a desired wavelength. The filter is configured with a plasmon resonator which is a structure of a conductor metal having irregular structures at predetermined intervals.
