FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: tool is intended for machining billets revolving about their lengthwise axis, in particular, for milling or rotary drawing, and comprises disc casing accommodating cutting plates arranged along periphery, or cassettes equipped with cutting plates. Note here that cutting plates or cassettes are mounted on circular, or partially circular segment holder fitted on machine tool spindle either directly or with the help of adapter. To decrease time required for tool reinstallation and to simplify its replacement, said holders feature L-shape cross section. Note also that holder one side is provided with at least one open spline-like recess to receive screw rod laterally while opposite is furnished with stop. ^ EFFECT: shorter reinstallation, simplified replacement. ^ 9 cl, 8 dwg |
