<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic hood with a therapeutic light cut filter covering an observation window in which the surface of the therapeutic light cut filter can be cleaned even if the hood is attached to a distal end of the endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: The hood 50 is attached to the distal end 16a of the electronic endoscope. The hood 50 includes a specific wavelength cut filter 51 which is provided on a portion covering the observation window 42 and cuts or dimming a light of specific wavelength of the light reflected in a body cavity. The hood 50 has an illumination window 40, an air and water discharging nozzle 43, and an opening portion 53 for exhibiting a forceps exit 45 in the body cavity. Air and water discharged from the air and water discharging nozzle 43 flow to the surface of the specific wavelength cut filter 51 through the opening portion 53. In this way, part of a body fluid or living tissues which adhere to the surface of the specific wavelength cut filter 51 are removed by the air and water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
