摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide foamable polystyrene-based resin particles which are capable of high foaming without deteriorating moldability, and give a foam molded article having excellent thermal insulation performance and mechanical strength.

SOLUTION: The foamable polystyrene-based resin particles comprise a polystyrene-based resin, a volatile foaming agent, and a scale-like silicate having particle size of 10-200 μm and an aspect ratio of ≥30.
