<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device capable of accurately mounting a TCP on a liquid crystal panel. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting device pressurizes, heats and definitely press-fits one end of a TCP 6 provided with a second lead 6a temporarily press-fitted by an adhesive anisotropic conductive member 5 to the upper surface of the side part of a liquid crystal panel 4 provided with a first lead 4a. The mounting device includes: a backup tool 17 for supporting the lower surface of the side part of the liquid crystal panel, to which one end of the TCP is connected; a pressurizing tool 15 for pressurizing and heating one end of the TCP temporarily press-fitted to the upper surface of the side part of the liquid crystal panel and definitely press-fitting it by melt-curing the anisotropic conductive member; and a controller 41 for heating and thermally expanding the TCP so that the pitch of the second lead of the TCP becomes the same as the pitch of the first lead of the liquid crystal panel before one end of the TCP is pressurized and heated by the pressurizing tool to be a temperature for melt-curing the anisotropic conductive member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
