PURPOSE: A monitor tilting device is provided to secure an appropriate view angle for a rear-seat passenger by controlling a monitor regardless of the angle of a front seat in a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A monitor tilting device comprises a headrest(10), a monitor(20), a photosensor(30), and a position adjusting mechanism(40). The monitor is formed on one side of the headrest and rotated by a certain angle to offer video information. The photosensor is formed on one side of a vehicle seat(5) and senses the tilt angle of the headrest. The position adjusting mechanism corrects the position of the monitor based on position information including the tilt angle of the headrest transmitted from the photosensor. |
