<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life extension plug for a fusible plug that can easily be attached to even an existing fusible plug, an already-laid fusible plug or the like, and can extend its life. <P>SOLUTION: The life extension plug for the fusible plug includes: a boss 11 which has an engagement hole 14 engaged with the external periphery of a fusible plug body 3, and is formed with a screw hole 15 screw-connected with a plug 12 at its center; a screw 20 screw-connected to the screw hole 15 of the boss 11; and the plug 12 at which a pocket 21 which can accommodate a fusible metal 5 protruded from the fusible plug body 3 is formed at its end, and is formed with a fusible metal flow-out hole 23 which communicates with the pocket 21, and is thinner than the pocket.
